XMind is a free mind mapping tool that it is every bit as good as the major players. As a strong advocate of mind mapping I have used both MindJet and Mind Genius extensively for a number of years but this tool is every bit as good as those tools with the added benefit of being free.For $49 you can upgrade to XMind pro which gives you a number of great features for power or business user but for a basic tool to help you manage your thoughts the basic XMind does the trick.
